I love these little bird cages. I found them at a discount store. They were green, and I spray painted them black…. because I seem to paint everything black. I used to have them hanging on the wall of my living room. I put votive candles inside and they looked so pretty at Christmastime. Well, recently, they’ve needed to come off the walls of the living room and the candles have burned down to nothingness. It was time for a change.
I made my first trip to Hobby Lobby, friends. Wow! Hobby Lobby has just recently come to our area. I’d been hearing everyone in blogland talking about Hobby Lobby, but now I can actually join in the fun. I picked up some Spanish moss, a roll of sheet moss, a cut little bird, and a few eggs.
It took about 2 minutes for this little bird house makeover, but it was such a good change for spring.

Those are adorable, Becca! I'm so happy for you that you now have a Hobby Lobby. I used to live 3 hours from the closest one, but now only 10 min. — love it! Just remember — never go there without a coupon & the store rotates through their merchandise every week or two putting lots of things on 50% off. If something isn't on sale one week, it will go on sale in the next week or two. One of the employees shared that with me — they are so nice!
