At the risk of going to a dark place, I have to say the list of things I really miss about my old school has become sadly limited. However, there is rarely a day when I don't miss walking through your room and seeing the joy that was you with your kinders…

Your blog post made me smile. Partly because it reminded me about all the beauty that came from that place…All the beauty that helped shape me into who I am today. And, partly because to receive the gingham ribbon from YOU is a real honor indeed.

Though I don't really deserve it (I didn't tie ribbons to our jars after all), I will accept it with a smile ear-to-ear. And, will continue to read your blog, dear friend, as long as you keep writing it.
