I was skeptical about using all shortening in this recipe. But with the increase in the price of butter, and a full can of crisco in the pantry, I gave this recipe a try. The result? Delicious!

I just made a batch of M&M cookies today from our Easter M&Ms. My recipe is a bit different, but I know what you mean about them sinking down into the dough. We add more to the top, too.

I was just saying today how I love making cookies with my KitchenAid (stand), silpat, and cookie scoop. To me, they are just as important as the oven! {I think I'm spoiled!}

Those look really good! When I was growing up, store-bought cookies were a treat because mom always made cookies. I always use the big cookie scoop, too; if you're going to have a cookie, you need to HAVE A COOKIE!
