What a huge coincidence!! We made banana bread yesterday, too. We needed munchies for a meeting I was holding here, and a basket of what we call 'dead bananas' ... so banana bread was what we did.

When we have overripe bananas, and no intention to make banana bread, we toss them into the freezer to be used later. Thaw them in the microwave, and they're good to go.

I'll have to dig out my banana bread recipe and send it to you. It's from my grandmother, and it's wonderful!
