My Garden Bench

July 7, 2013   By Becca 2 Comments

I see pictures all the time of cute little garden benches.  My garden bench has always been utilitarian, but never styled well.  I would certainly not call it cute.  I decided it was time for a little cute-sification of the garden bench.  Wouldn’t you know it… I had just finished making it pretty and my hubby propped up a huge fence post next to it.  So, please ignore the fence post.  My hubby should know that once something is pretty, it will need to have a photo taken! Oh well, I guess that means he’ll be getting around to fixing my fence soon!

I had quite a few clay pots to store, so the potting bench was the obvious spot for them. I replanted my strawberry pots with herbs and moved them over.  I hung a few of my favorite antique garden tools too. Oh how I wish I had a cute antique watering can!  That would look so much better than my green plastic watering can.

A few pretty flowers and this garden bench makeover is complete!

Happy gardening!

Your bench is so pretty! It's nice to be able to have a cute place to keep the clay pots.
