Hi Friends.
Before we get to Home and Family Friday, I need to pat myself on the back. Over the summer I picked lots of berries. My kids helped. (It was child labor, but I paid them in berries.)
I took the time to freeze each berry individually on a cookie sheet before packaging them with my food saver for freezer storage.
I can’t begin to tell you how happy local berries make me. I’ve been taking them for lunch each day. I take them straight out of the freezer and put them in a little tupperware. I put them in the fridge at school and by lunch time they are just perfect.
Ready to share your fun from the week? Link up! I’d love it if you’d grab my button and become a follower. Sorry I missed last week! I was enjoying Chicago.

What great lessons for the children, too! They get to see the 'fruit' of their labor and enjoy something yummy! Christie at Three Pixie Lane
