It’s Tuesday. I cried today… in front of 23 kindergarteners. I don’t cry often but sometimes things seem overwhelming. Then you take a minute to put the pieces back into place and realize there is so much to be thankful for.
Today I see the wonder my children see when they hold a special treasure in their hands. Today I’m thankful. Tomorrow I’ll hold a special treasure in my hand and remind myself to be peaceful and maybe even a little joyful again.

Becca, It is beautiful that you have shared your heart today. Sometimes things just all come at once. Those children got to see your authentic heart…the real you. I can't think of a more beautiful thing. God bless.

Hi Becca! I just came over from Chatting at the Sky and just wanted to thank you for being so 'real' in this post. We all have those moments and they usually never occur when we are in the quiet confines of our own home where no one can see that vulnerability. I agree with Christie that it is so good for those kiddos to see that we can "lose it" and yet still trust that God is good and faithful!

There were days that I felt that way when I was teaching, days that were just overwhelming. And the next day you just begin again with a clean slate. I'm wishing you a wonderful day tomorrow!

You opened your heart and yourself when your tears were shed.
You showed your students that even Teachers are vulnerable and get frustrated. They learned a valuable lesson today.
Have a wonderful day tomorrow.
