This Little Pitcher

June 11, 2012   By Becca 1 Comment

I’ve always had a love of things with history.  I love going to the thrift store and searching for someone’s treasures from the past.  It makes me even happier when my treasures come with my own family history attached.
My grandma gave this little pitcher to me in 1998.  She typed a note for me, so I’d always remember where this came from.  It reads, “This little pitcher was given to my mother on her wedding day, January 28, 1915.”

A little pitcher, given as a gift to my great grandmother, almost 100 years ago.
Beautiful.
Happy Monday!
