Another quilt is finished!  I made this one for my daughter.  We made a similar quilt with her second grade class.  She wasn’t too happy with me when I told her we weren’t going to bid on the finished quilt at the school auction.  I really wanted the quilt to go to another family, since I knew I could make another one.

I finished the quilt top a few months ago and took it to my long arm quilter to quilt.  When I’m working with small quilts, I don’t mind doing my own quilting.  When it’s this big or larger, I just can’t handle it.  It’s just too big to squish through my little machine.

Plus… my quilting doesn’t turn out this pretty.
