Home Is Where My Story Begins

Biringer Farms Jam Tasting

We’re off to Biringer Farms for jam tasting today!

My 7 year old made a classic raspberry jam. She did all of the measuring, berry crushing, and stiring by herself. I helped her with the hot part of jam making – the cooking and ladling into jars.

I made a blueberry/raspberry with a tasty twist.  Mine has a bit of lemon, cinnamon, and nutmeg in it.  It’s almost more like a pie filling than a jam.  My #1 jam taster (my hubby) says it has a very strong berry flavor.  It spreads smoothly, and it’s the best jam I’ve ever made.  Wow!  I can’t wait to see what the judges say!

Happy jam tasting!
